Sensational Astounding Read
"All I Need," is a wonderfully written novel. Michelle, Randi and Umi are three long-time friends, who have built a strong sister based relationship. These three women are very different and unique in themselves, but they share in their love for one another. Michelle is a housewife and who has spent years wrapped into being a wife and mother. Michelle starts looking at her friends lives and begin feeling emptiness inside, when suddenly a horrifying incident strikes and changes her life instantly. Randi who is a researcher for a major newspaper gets wrapped up in raging hormones, which backfires on her. Umi has an advertisement career and she feels high in the clouds. Umi only wanting an elite prestigious man, soon finds out that a man with money doesn't always bring happiness.

Jacquie is definitely on my list of great storytellers. This novel will have you laughing and crying, oooohing and awwwhing, happy and even outraged. The characterization is so vivid, you feel as though you know each one of them. You will feel their pain and share in their happiness as you walk through their lives with them. I suggest everyone pick up a copy of this wonderful novel. With writing skills like this and the ability to grab her audience at the very beginning and hold them so until the end, Jacquie Bamberg Moore will be in the Literary Arena for a long time to come.

Absolutely Fabulous!
If true friendship is valuable to you, read this book! You will not only relate, but I'm pretty sure you will identify with one of the characters. It takes you on a drama filled journey of three sister friends who are unique in their lifestyles, personalities, and principles. While Umi, an educated business diva struggles with balancing her business matters and personal affairs, Randi, the can't say no to sex diva, gets herself into some hot water trying to juggle her multiple male relationships. In the midst of managing their own life drama's, their friendship will not only be tested, but pushed to a new level.

Illusion Show: A Life in Magic
Published in Hardcover by David Meyer Magic Books (September, 1991)
Authors: David Bamberg, Robert Parrish, and Robert Bamberg
Average review score:

An exciting tale of a great 20th century illusionist.
I highly recommend this book if you have an interest in magicalhistory. Bamberg not only relates his personal experience with manygreats (family friend of Houdini, Thurston, Okito) but has a wonderful storytelling style. He was quite a character with an amazing life story to share. At times, i found myself laughing out loud. The book beat all of my expectations and is highly recommended.

Illusion Show Review
I'm reading Illusion Show for the second time now and I find it more fascinating than the first time. If your interests are in vaudeville theatre, 1930s stageshows, magic history, latin american entertainment, or you just enjoy biographies, this book is a must. David Bamberg is the last in a long line of magicians. He made his fame and fortune in the latin american countries during the 30's and 40's. His show has been described by many as the BEST ILLUSION SHOW of the 20th Century, surpassing Kellar, Thurston, Blackstone,Dante, Houdini and all the rest. David Bamberg was a genious without a doubt and as a full time Magical Illusionist I highly recommend this book to everyone interested in the history of showbusiness.

The Nazi Legacy
Published in Audio Cassette by Books in Motion (December, 1996)
Authors: Richard Bamberg, Joy Bamberg, and Karen Noble
Average review score:

Excellent adventure in the Charlene(Charley)Rodgers series.
Charlene Rodgers, beautiful and talented archaeologist heroine of EMERALD EYES, returns in the Richard & Joy Bamberg's 2nd book chronicling her adventures. This time Charley finds herself unearthing not ancient artifacts, but a modern day relic of the deadly Nazi era. With the help of her friend T.J. Howard, Charley battles the malevolent force behind one of the South's most violent militia conspiracies. Great fun -- well presented by dramatic reader Stephanie Brush.

Strega
Published in Audio Cassette by Books in Motion (December, 1996)
Authors: Richard A. Bamberg and Maynard Villers
Average review score:

Outstanding contemporary vampire story.
Vampire stories a dime-a-dozen, but authors Richard and Joy Bamberg have found an exciting new twist -- a dramatic extention of the original Dracula story penned by Bram Stoker, in which American Quincey Morris played a pivotal role in the vampire lord's death. Now Dracula's "widow" has come to the American Southwest to avenge her master's death by spilling the blood of Morris' modern-day descendents in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Seductive as she is deadly, Strega toys with her prey at first, but she will not be satisfied until all Morris' descendents are bled white and and the deadliest vampire of all is awakened from his slumber. Excellent dramatic reading by Maynard Villers.

A Course in Mathematics for Students of Physics: Volume 1
Published in Paperback by Cambridge University Press (September, 1991)
Authors: Paul Bamberg and Shlomo Sternberg
Average review score:

Good stuff badly written
I'm going to mention the second volume almost exclusively. This is where the action is located. It is hard to find any equivalent treatment of circuit theory using algebraic topology. You should have some mathematics background or some patience and a stack of books on algebra and algebraic topology so you can understand what these authors write so poorly. However, while the text (vol.2) loses a star for being horribly written, it gains four stars for the amazing content. If you are patient you will see a side of circuits you have never dreamt of and then you will be led into the generalized (continuous) version which is electromagnetics.

If you are looking for some really accessible and really interesting mathematics on circuits and EM buy this book (or buy it used, I bought my hardcover for 10$) You might also find it useful to consult the appendix in Frankel's Geometry of Physics for comparison.

Have fun and keep in mind that the book is written by sadists, clever and intelligent, but sadists all the way!

Simply fascinating!
In short, I find this kind of a book very rare indeed.

If you are doing physics and electronics at the undergraduate level, this book will open your eyes to a whole new unified approach to several on-the-surface different topics. I wonder why many course designer's haven't looked at this book and realized how accessible it has made some of the relatively modern concepts. The authors laudably attend on each concept with a passion to make the reader confident of grasping at least a few different ways of looking at it, keeping the core well in view all the time. It is also to their credit to have kept the beauty in the ideas intact with a good balance of abstraction and concrete instances.

In particular, the authors treatment of exterior calculus is an eye opener if you are new to the topic. For a student only exposed to traditional methods, it is a revealer to see the laws of linear electrical circuits as well as Maxwell's equations of electromagnetism being expressed in precisely the same language. It is totally to the credit of the authors to have presented the concepts in such a simple to understand progression. For example, they make you see clearly why you have understood the divergence theorem or Stokes theorem of conventional vector calculus if you've grasped the essence of the calculus of functions of a single variable. Its a fantastic voyage folks, and you've got some of the best guides methinks.

All those who find physics and mathematics a drag at college should grab this book and be enlightened. I wish they fix some of the errors in the book in future editions, but the errors don't at all hinder the learning.

Ten thumbs up!

An interested amateur physicist
I don't understand why some of the reviews here are mediocre. Although I haven't read the book to any depth, I have a knack of knowing whether a book exudes quaity by browsing briefly through it to get a general feel; the breadth of the material presented is breathtaking and at least eye-opening. Here are some reviews from the back cover...
American Journal Of Physics:- Not only is the mathematics clean, elegant, and modern blah, blah, blah... This is first rate!
Times Higher Education Supplement:-
...There is to my knowledge no comparable book, and it is hard to imagine a more inspiring one.
Remember also that there are two volumes.
